Anna Elizabeth Colbert of Dothan, Alabama and Levi Austin Tate of Enterprise, Alabama were united in marriage on December 12, 2015 at 5 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Dothan. Doctor Paul Thompson officiated the candlelight ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Kermit Colbert of Dothan and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Downs and Ms. Dorothy Thomson Colbert of Dothan.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kenneth Long of Enterprise and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Harrell Long of Port Charlotte, Florida, Ms. Mary Quinnie Tate of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wayne Watson of Hartford.

A program of music was presented by pianist, Mrs. Cindy Ward and organist, Mrs. Sylvia Thornton, of Dothan, Giddings Strings Quartet of Florida, and the Calvary Baptist Church Choir of Dothan. Vocalists were Mr. Steve Chambers, Mrs. Katie Parrish and Mrs. Melanie Donop of Dothan. Mr. John Watson Downs of Dothan read scripture.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a classic and timeless ball gown with intricate lace sleeves made in traditional Alencon lace, an illusion neckline and open back. Fitted to the natural waist, the silk taffeta skirt was adorned with lace details and swept to an eight foot train. To complete the ensemble, she chose a royal cathedral length veil of ivory illusion and trimmed in Alencon lace.

The bride carried a loose, cascading bouquet of white and blush Peonies, white Astilbe, Veronica, Lisianthus, Ranunculus, Stephanotis and Tulips, peach Juliet Garden Roses, light pink Charity Garden Roses, pink Majolica Spray Roses, seeded Eucalyptus, Dusty Miller and Ivey.

Serving as Maids of Honor were the bride's sister, Ivy Whittington Colbert of Dothan and Kathryn Kori Chirico of Brundidge. Serving as Bridesmaids were cousin of the bride, Mary Grace Downs O'Connor of Dallas, Texas, Claudia Grace Andrews of Rehobeth, Elizabeth Brooke Dillard of Opp, Olivia McCall Guettler of Chipley, Florida, Merideth Kay Thompson of Panama City, Florida, Mindy Brannon Turner of Hartford, Jordyn Paige Clark, Michaela Margaret Fendley, Bailey Elizabeth Halcomb, and Jordan Elizabeth Unger all of Dothan, along with Montana Skye Savage and Jennifer Paige Sormrude of Enterprise. Serving as Junior Bridesmaids were sister of the groom, Elizabeth Grace Long of Enterprise and Alexis Shannon Ramsey of Samson. Serving as the Flower Girl was the little sister of the bride, Mary Alan Colbert of Dothan.

Serving as Best Men were Jake Tanner Harrell of Ashford, and Cody Allen Hughes of Dozier. Serving as Groomsmen were brothers of the bride, Christian Barnes Colbert and John Hunter Colbert of Dothan, uncle of the groom, Timothy Lamar Brannon of Dothan, Gregory Kyle Brown of Alabaster, Phillip William Clowdus of Auburn, Robert Adam Sanford of Troy, Benjamin Alan Tidwell of Ozark, along with John Dalton Dalrymple, Michael Seth McWaters, Gabriel Gilbert Robinson, and Tyler Drake Stump all of Enterprise.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens. On Friday night, the groom's parents entertained the wedding party and guests with a rehearsal dinner at The Wise on Foster.
